I haven't posted in a bit, so there is lots to catch up on...
Well Chandler is officially 1 month old. What a wonderful month it has been. I have to say it has been the quickest month I have ever had! He has grown so much and has really gotten a personality (which is so adorable and funny...most of the time). It has been truly amazing to watch him learn and develop and grow. It makes me sad that he is already getting so big! To celebrate the occasion we had the family over for pizza, jalapeno poppers, and brownies. While he wasn't in the best mood because he has a case of thrush he still had a blast with Grandpa Z who taught him how to swing from the Chandelier and stir brownie batter. Grandma and Mommy took 1 month pictures, lets hope he continues to be such a good sport about pictures! He wasn't however thrilled with the idea of blowing out his birthday candle.
Chandler has really gotten the hang of holding up his own head...with only a few wobbles here and there. He has become SO much more alert lately, spending about 2 hours awake at a time, mostly staring at the fan, walls, windows, or whoever is holding him. He smiles a lot and giggles in his sleep, although I'm still not sure they are social smiles. Everyone says "Oh you'll know"...well I don't so I'm assuming they aren't. But I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first social smile, being goofy as possible to try to coax one out! Mommy and daddy are also anxiously awaiting him to start cooing.
Chandler had a Dr's appt today. He is now 20 1/4 inches long and weighs in at 8 lbs 4 ounces. He is in the 60th percentile for his height weight ratio. He had to endure another dang heel prick (which he did NOT enjoy and made that clear), but he is no longer anemic. After being told that he grunts and strains and seems to have really bad gas that even Mylacon can't soothe the Dr thinks that he might be suffering from Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis...which is a fancy way of saying MORE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS FOR MOMMY! YEAHHHHHH! (I only thought my days of dietary restrictions were over) We are testing for this, if it is I get the wonderful pleasure of cutting out ALL milk and soy products from my diet while still breastfeeding, which wouldn't be bad, if they weren't in EVERYTHING! On the plus side Dr. Benbow says weight will just fly off of me (because I can't eat anything!). Unfortunately once I stop breastfeeding the formula will be very expensive. Fortunately he should completely grow out of it. Anything for the little one, hopefully it helps his tummy.
As for the rest of us Zac and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary on the 14th with a wonderful dinner at Ounce steakhouse while Chandler entertained Grandma and Grandpa. The last three years have been truly great ones, but we both agree that the last month has been the best month of our marriage so far. We are both looking forward to the excitement and laughs that are still to come for hopefully many decades.
Today I found out that I will be teaching 2nd grade next year. I am thrilled about the news since the other option was Kinder, and I'm not sure I'm cut out for that!
Hurly and Nollie continue to be fantastic big sisters. Nollie had an ear infection, but thanks to ear drops is all better now.
Well I think that catches us up. Till next time...
Updates on the lives of Dani, Zac, Hurly, Nollie, and most importantly Chandler...okay who are we kidding it's about Chandler.

Look ma a new belly button!
Chandler finally decided to let his umbilical cord fall of this morning around 12:30 am. We are all very excited about this because this means he can now take real baths, and not have to freeze his little baby butt off getting sponge baths on the counter top! It also reduces the amount of time diaper changes take! He now has an almost cute little belly button, it is still filled with crusty junk, so we don't know for sure what it looks like, but it's adorable I'm sure!
Zac and I survived leaving Chandler for the first time last night to attend a wedding. We were both amazed how fast we missed him, and just wanted to go home to be with him. While we were missing him he was having fun at Grandma and Grandpas house! I don't think he missed us at all, heck I don't think he realized we were even gone.
Chandler got to meet his Aunt Tamber and Uncle Matt today also! It took a while to finally get them here, but hopefully they will get to see a lot more of each other from now on. He enjoyed being held by them while he made huge poopies and can't wait to do it again.
